Phantom fury hallwau11/20/2023 Quietly, I trek my way to the small, elaborate white dining hall. There’s no use to even think about it anyways. Like Artemis mentioned, the procedure is under way with Helios. I nod to myself, accepting her anger but not her complaint. Artemis’ loud sigh is her reply to my offer. I am heading there now…I hope to see you there.” I inform her in a seductive hum, stepping back. “But if you do decide to join me and little Mira, it’ll be in my personal dining hall in 25 minutes. “Yes…” I reply softly, tugging on my glove again. I do believe the meal to be more uplifting with your presence, but I won’t force you. “I will assure you that you don’t have to join us. It was just a thought, that’s all.” I tell her. “I admit I should have expected you to answer that way. “And why should I be interested in that?” Artemis asks, her tone of voice inflected to a higher pitch. The idea of her dining with me is all I need at the moment to smile. “I am inviting Mira to a dinner and I’d really enjoy it if you would join us.” I answer her, a smile on my face. I guess I'm not used to her being so angry. I came because I have an offer for you.” I reply firmly. “Of course I am "smart enough", but I didn't come here to argue. It is obvious that she wants no part of this conversation. You’re smart enough to do that, aren’t you?!” She adds on with a mighty boom. “I don’t have to tell you anything, Spectra!" She counters immediately. How did you get into the laboratory? It's strictly forbidden for anyone to go inside without permission." You can ask him when he’s done if you don’t believe me.” I explain until a question pops into my mind. “Helios offered to become a Cyborg Bakugan. I'd never think you would be that oblivious.but you happen to be oblivious on one thing.” I tell her. “No Spectra…he never told me personally with words. He told me with roars of pain! His pain from the procedure you put him in! Did you seriously think I’d be that oblivious?!” Artemis fires back full swing. Artemis’ response doesn’t come for a moment. Did he tell you?” I ask firmly, inflection a bit higher. “I didn’t you know you were aware of Helios’ decision. I didn’t know she knew about all of this nor did I expect her to be so mad. “What’s the problem?! You’re letting Helios convert part of his body into a machine! THAT’S THE PROBLEM you IDIOT!” Artemis shouts out, the power of her voice makes me jump. This unusual action of Artemis has shaken me the wrong way…slightly. Is there some sort of problem?” I ask in a loud hum, my voice managing to stay calm. “Hmm…Alright, but tell me why you won’t let me in. Tugging on my glove to unravel the wrinkles, I knock on the door. Within five mere minutes I am standing outside Artemis’ room. It’s funny though, Artemis’ image flashes up more within my mind more than I thought it would. Artemis’ and Mira’s beloved faces flash through my mind now, causing my speed and the sound of my boots to kick up even more than before. Perhaps the idea of Artemis and Mira, the two closest female individuals I know being alongside me at dinner has me rather excited. For what reason I speed up my walking, I don’t know. I turn right, making a bit of haste to Artemis’ room. He nods, parting way from me by turning left. It should be in your room on your bed.” I reply when we stop at the hallway that breaks off into left and right. Is that understood my friend?” I reply firmly. You will go to Mira with the dress I prepared for my little sister so she, Artemis and I to have dinner. “Yes…What do you infer with you saying “ I’ll see what happens” Master?” He asks, his concerned voice returning to my dismay. He then raises a brow, turning his head to me. “I understand, Master.” Gus replies immediately. I don’t have her personality fully down so I’ll just have to see what happens.” “Gus, I must admit I don’t have much of a clue on how she’ll react to Helios’ willing offer of becoming the ultimate Bakugan. Artemis is…erratic at times. She might be excited at the thought of being a close friend of Helios and me…or she might be furious with Helios’ decision to transform himself. "Master? Are you sure this is a good idea? Telling Artemis about Helios’ decision?” My blue haired, right hand man asks me with a bit of concern while we trek quietly through the hallways of the palace.
